We meet at 08.00 at an agreed meeting point and drive together to the field hamsters. After a short drive we arrive at the site and prepare our cameras and equipment for the models.
With the necessary calm and patience, the field hamsters will get closer and closer to us and we will experience great moments with them. During this time, I will support you photographically in the best possible way so that you will succeed in taking the most amazing pictures.

We will spend the time with our friends until noon and review the first pictures during the subsequent lunch break.

We will analyse some of the pictures on the laptop and I will give you tips and tricks on image composition and processing.

In the afternoon we will visit the field hamsters again and spend time with them until late afternoon. Especially in the evening hours there is very good light again before they disappear into the burrow for the night.

This workshop is based on observing the funny field hamsters in their habitat and capturing them photographically.
The workshops start at the beginning of April, around which time the field hamsters have usually long since awoken from hibernation and are up for a bit of fun.

The most beautiful pictures are often taken from the beginning of April to the end of June, when many flowers are in bloom and can be used for many picture compositions. But also from July to September you often get wonderful snapshots. Here the young animals are on the move and they are very playful and ready for various shows.

Nachmittag:
