Terms and Conditions
Photo workshop

1. Registration / conclusion of contract

Workshop registrations can only be made using our registration form on our website and you will receive a confirmation email from us within a short period of time.  From this confirmation e-mail, the booking is valid and the contract has been concluded.

The specified minimum number of participants must be reached, otherwise we can postpone the date or cancel the booking if necessary. The amount already paid will then be refunded.

2. Down payment and final payment

With the booking confirmation you will also receive a deposit invoice from us, which is issued in the amount of 50% of the total amount of the workshop. This must be transferred to our specified account within 10 days.
60 days before the start of the workshop, you will receive an invoice for the remaining amount of the workshop. This must also be transferred to our account within 10 days.
When registering and booking 60 days before the start of the workshop, the entire amount is due for transfer within 5 days of receipt of the booking confirmation and delivery of the invoice.
In the event of default in payment, default interest in the amount of customary bank interest and a reminder fee per reminder will be charged. Any collection costs are also borne by the participant.

 

3. Revocation and cancellation

The participant has the right to revoke this contract up to fourteen days after conclusion of the contract without giving reasons. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded and the booking confirmation. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, the participant must send an e-mail about the decision to withdraw from this contract or notify this in writing by registered letter. The date on which the letter was posted is taken as the date.

In the event of a revocation or cancellation going beyond this, we will charge a flat fee in relation to the final invoice amount as listed below:

up to 90 days before the start of the workshop .............. 60% of the final invoice amount will be invoiced

up to 30 days before the start of the workshop .............. 75% of the final invoice amount will be invoiced

from 30 days before the start of the workshop .................. 100% of the final invoice amount will be invoiced
 

4. Change of the program sequence

Changes to the workshop content are possible in exceptional cases.


5. Copyrights

Documents handed out in the workshop are and remain the intellectual property of Manfred Hesch or the respective author and may not be used in whole or in part for anything other than a reference work for private use without their written consent. A complete or partial transfer to third parties - be it permanent or temporary - is not permitted.


6. Resignation by Manfred Hesch

Manfred Hesch is entitled to cancel a workshop at short notice if the minimum number of participants is not reached or if there have been other changes that are essential for the implementation of the workshop. In such a case, we will immediately reimburse the invoice amount already paid. Further claims are excluded.


7. Liability

Participation in our workshop takes place at your own risk. Manfred Hesch and workshop staff are not liable for accidents and damage of any kind. In the event of bad weather, which limits the photographic possibilities, the invoice amount will not be reimbursed. In the event of events that are caused by force majeure and thus result in changes in the process, the invoice amount will not be reimbursed. Since the motifs are wild animals, no guarantee of their presence can be given. By participating, the participant agrees to these terms and conditions.


8. Data protection

Registration and address data are stored by Manfred Hesch in order to be able to provide services for the workshop in the best possible way. Manfred Hesch undertakes not to pass on personal data to third parties.


9. Subsidiary agreements

Additional agreements are only valid in writing.
 

10. Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of this contract be ineffective or unenforceable or become ineffective or unenforceable after the conclusion of the contract, the validity of the rest of the contract remains unaffected. The ineffective or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by an effective and enforceable provision whose effects come as close as possible to the economic objective pursued by the contracting parties with the ineffective or unenforceable provision. The above provisions apply accordingly in the event that the contract turns out to be incomplete.


11. Contractual partner

The contractual partner is Manfred Hesch, Wolfgangseestraße 56, 5322 Hof near Salzburg


12. Place of jurisdiction

Unless otherwise stipulated by law, the place of jurisdiction is Salzburg
